IT'S A LITTLE BIT FOGGY WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE PEAK.
The route to Osmeña Peak can offer scenic green mountains as you ride in a motorcycle while on your way to the trail head. The motorcycle ride will give a little bit but manageable butt pains, lol.
Locals there are very friendly and approachable too. Please do not forget to say "maayong buntag" (good morning), "maayong udto" (good noon), and "maayong gabii" (good evening). Do not forget to smile at the locals too, their smiles will contribute to the beauty that the peak will offer to you after passing through the trail.
Osmeña Peak has an easy yet pebbly trail. As you approach near the peak, the temperature drops and it continues to drop as you trek higher. You can see camping sites and another volcano-like peak beside the main one. The volcano-like peak is tricky as you go down and very foggy. We even call it the mountain of regret because we climbed there for a first view from the top but we could not see anything because of the fog.
HERE'S THE WHAT WE SO-CALLED THE MOUNTAIN OF REGRET BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE CAN SEE AMAZING VIEW FROM HERE BUT ALL WE CAN WAS FOG. LOL
Since the location is very cold, you can also see a lot of cabbage planted while trekking to the peak. Respect nature and do not step on the cabbages for these are the hard work of the locals. Stay in the trail and enjoy the view.
